If you're using (or have used) this setup, how did it work for you?

My setup: Windows XP, Palm Desktop 4.1, iPhone 4

--Have you run into any technical problems or glitches with this program/app?
--Do you make backups of your data ... either via Palm and/or the iPhone?
--Overall satisfaction...?

Thanks much!

PS: please note I'm not interested in using iCloud. I want a local, internet-free copy of my calendar and contacts.

Sadly, no, lol. My beloved Palm died a while ago. RIP, baby!

However, Palm Desktop works just fine on my computer, and why risk a bunch of issues to fiddle around with new tech? My spouse of many years still "works", too.

Due to the very high confidentiality and security needs of my profession, I need local and internet-free storage for some of my data. I guard the most mobile component, the iPhone, with my life, practically.

Have had a smartphone only for a few months, and I'm looking for a reliable way to sync the info between it and PD, hence my post here.

DejaOffice gets mediocre reviews, but many of them are for other devices, so I'm seeking additional, specific information. Any positive contributions appreciated!
