Hi, I currently have a contract with T-Mobile at the moment and want to change from my Samsung to an iPhone 4, I am able to get my hands on a unlocked iPhone 4 but before I do so, I want to make sure, will my sim-card which is on contract work on an unlocked iPhone 4? I have only seen prepaid sim cards being mentioned hence the confusion. I don't want to spend money on a device that I can not use at the end... I understand that I will need to cut the sim-card to a compatible micro-sim but my main concern is whether if my contract sim card would work on an unlocked iPhone 4.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

Oh YES! Great thank you!
Do you know if 3G would work? I was looking through my network statuses and it said that the Mobile Network type is UMTS, would that enable 3G if I was to get an iPhone?

Att uses 850 and 1900
But the iPhone is quad band so it has the European bands in it. (900/1800) so your good.
