    Hi folks.
Having become a recent convert to iMac, and loving it, I now need another music conversion tool to convert music either from my own CDs, or downloaded in iTunes, to mp3. I used to use tunebite on windows which worked really well. What do you suggest?

iTunes will convert to mp3 just fine.

Go to Preferences->General->Import Settings->Import Using, and select "MP3 encoder".

After that, all CDs imported will be in MP3 format. If you download a song from iTunes, select it in your iTunes Library, and go to Advanced->Create MP3 version. iTunes will then make a copy of it in MP3 form.

Thanks guys. Will give the iTunes method a go. It's just that I load all my music to USB in MP3 format to play in car.

Or you can try iFunia AudioConverter for Mac on Mac App Store, can convert video formats to audio formats such as MP3...
