My iPhone wasn't syncing correctly with my address book so I tried to erase and reinstall the Apple address application. I erased it but now I can't seem to figure out how to re-install, the software dvd that came with my macbook will not let me install just the address book, it wants me to install the whole osx.:( I now have no address book on my macbook, can anyone please help me?

Hi,

Have a look at the Pacifist app...

http://www.charlessoft.com/

From their site: if an application which is installed by the operating system becomes damaged and needs to be reinstalled without the hassle of reinstalling all of Mac OS X.

Make sure you read the directions before you try it, http://www.charlessoft.com/Pacifist_Documentation/Documentation.html

I haven't used this before, but I remember bookmarking for future use.

You can find the Address Book app:
Mac OS X Install Disk 1 > System > Installation > Packages > Essentials.pkg
