Just saw a post about that but can't connect to any news sites to confirm. Anyone hear this? Is it true?

This is actually really sad. Who didn't love her in the 80s and 90s? I always hoped she turned her life around because her talent was from another planet. R.I.P

First Amy Winehouse and now Whitney Houston. I hope people, especially talented ones, realize that drugs only lead to agony and later on death. RIP, Whitney.

You wanna bet that Demi Moore will be next? At least she has started her downward spiral.

the only difference between the 2 was that one was a God from day one, the other one was cool because she was on crack from day one. Big difference. Whitney was perfect till she married bobby brown.

Happened about a mile from my place. I could hear the helicopters outside. I didn't realize what happened until I saw it posted on FaceBook.

She really had a spectacular voice. I loved her 'My Love Is Your Love' album where she finally had some decent writing to wrap that voice around - not just soppy ballads or dance pop stuff, some real soul tracks. Here's my favorite, a brilliant Stevie Wonder cover:

I liked her songs except for that crapfest from "The Bodyguard." Nevertheless, she had a great voice.
funny, I was just reading that the soundtrack is on the top 10 of the greatest albums of all time. Not a fan of it either.

I don't know, I'm not a music expert, but I do know that those figures are based on sales, so more props to her. Lots of people liked her music, as for me, I always considered her the best female voice of all time.
