Bigger screen, higher resolution. Better battery, and has optical image stabilization (much better than the 6). that's about it.

Much better specs but screen size will be problem for many. I know that was my deciding factor of getting the 6 over the Plus.

Oddly, the display of the iPhone 6 has better contrast ratio than that of the the iPhone 6 Plus: 1400:1 on the 6 versus 1300:1 on the 6 Plus.

However, the difference should be unnnoticeable to most normal human beings. Additionally, both are significantly better than the contrast ratio of the iPhone 5s, which is 800:1.

The only thing keeping me from my final decision is if I want the upgrade for OIS. I'm not quite sure its worth the wait or the extra cash.

In all likelihood if they have a 128GB i6 in stock in my podunk AT&T store, I'm going to get it and not get the i6+.

There's a lengthy write-up on the iPhone 6 vs iPhone 6 Plus. The biggest differences are the size of the display, optical image stabilization on Plus and support for iPad-like software experiences on the bigger model.
