Do I need to download an antivirus on my iPod Touch 2G?

    Do I need an antivirus if so can anyone recommend a free one?

    No you don't need to, and I'm not sure if there are any even available for iPhones/iPod Touches.

    It's merely impossible to get hacked. And if I believe I'm correct as long as there isn't a virus on your computer or iTunes, it shouldn't get onto your device

    its not eaven possible to hack iTunes so threr is no danger for your device

    It is possible to hack anything. It's just not that prevalent on Macs/Apple devices, at least at this point.

    Wasn't there something about a Rick Astley virus and something like "ikee"? I also read that there was a theme on Installer (looong gone) that Rick Rolled you at boot and the device would refuse to boot/go into DFU at boot. Don't those count as viruses?

    i heard aboud it to
    it was the ikee type
    he did it
    but that was the only virus
    on a Apple device ive ever heard aboud
