Do I really need iCloud since I don't have any other Apple products? I had it on but turned it off because it kept deleting my contacts and replacing them with really old email addresses. When I turned my husbands on it kept putting my contacts on there with his. We are now using two separate iCloud usernames, but it still puts my contacts on his and I lose all of mine. Is there a way to fix it? I've also always used the same iTunes because I don't know how to set up a second one. Can someone help me with this? Thanks so much.

Are you sure you are using your own Apple ID? iCloud uses Apple ID. Have you tried going to https://www.icloud.com/

I have my own iCloud ID but I use a different Apple ID on the iTunes store and to Sync my phone. I would like to set up my own iTunes ID on the store and on my computer for syncing my phone but I can't figure out how to. I have been using the same one as my husband since he got his phone.

    Take a look here:
    https://Appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/

Go to modify your account from there.
