When I charge my 30 GB video using USB cable I get this message continuously.
I searched a lot but could not find the solution for the exact problem I am having. When the iPod is connected to the computer it reads "do not disconnect" forever.... display does not change anytime.

How do I get rid of this message?

Any tips?

As long as iPod is connected to the computer, and you have not ejected it from the Finder or iTunes, the "Do not disconnect" screen appears.
I use iTunes software and when I click on "Eject" button at the bottom of iTunes screen I get the message its OK to disconnect. And then removing my iPod gives me no problem at all.
I would suggest you to try the same and let me know if you still face the problem.

Thats not the scenario in my case.
I have my iPod registered on my home computer, but if I have to recharge it using any other computer I will have to plug that in the USB Port - Once I do so the screen displays "Do not Disconnect" continuously. Then whatever steps I take to disconnect it as USB device i don't get rid of that message.
Any tips?
