Facebook is a great example.

Through Facebook, you have the option to put as information you want, examples being the following:

. Name
. sex
. birthday
. Nationality
. Birth place
. Current city
. Mobile
. Email
. Photos
. Videos
. Current location
. Past locations
And a lot of other details.

From this information you can get good profile of a person, some people follow the same routines in life ect.
Do you think people put too much online, do websites give too much options to give too much information ?
And what details do you put online?

Yes we do.

I try to get by with minimal information. I make up my birth date (it's close, but never accurate. I use the next town and sometimes state over. I use fake names depending on the site.

Lets face it, who names their kid Target? Maybe a boy named Sue perhaps.

I don't give a crap about sharing such information, to be honest with you. It's not like I am hiding millions in my drawer that I am afraid someone would steal.
