yes pretty much

when my dad before was messing around taking it in and out he losted it. which he had to go through the cancellation and then had to buy the sim card itself which was like $20 dolllars

i got one for free... just walk into att and ask for a new sim... just tell them you bought it from a third party and it did not come with a sim... no charge

got one on Sat. for free. I just told them I had bought a used iPhone that didn't have one in it. Activation has been a pain in the ass but only because I'm trying to get it set up as a GoPhone account.

yes but they give u a plain one if u want them to put your regular number back in it they charge im sure of it. unleast they pull one those !

Yeah, I think YMMV because I got a simcard free, including activation.

Depends on the person you get at art.

Im assuming ya didn't mean for an iPhone ( excuse my ignorance, Im all new to this smart phone and sim card businesss).
yeah it was for a different phone but a sim card is a sim card so theres no difference ;), but like others said it depends on who you get at the counter and what kind of day there having
