After recently doing a routine sync with iPhone, sounds coming from speaker at bottom of iPhone (ringing, key strokes, etc) are very soft and distorted. Took it to Apple, completely reset the phone and basically made it new. Problem gone--all sounds nice and loud and not distorted.
Came home, sync'd phone to get all contacts back on etc., ....same problem again. What is up with this? Any ideas?

Thats odd, but if it reoccurs with a brand new phone it could be somethin in the data your syncing. See if the store will give u a brand new unit.

That's good to hear but, sometimes something in your data could effect a phone. I had a few customers with treos and pocket ppc with similar issues one would work perfectly fine until they sync their data. The difference is his unit would lock up and it continued doing it even after exchanging his unit.
