does Apple provide any insurance for lost iPhone

i lost my iPhone4 some one had stolen it.wat to do?does Apple provide any insurance to it.i just brought it 10months ago

sadly no, you only have a 12 month warranty for defective product, and even Applecare doesn't cover theft or loss, you should try an specialist gadget insurer like protect your bubble once you get another phone.

It's not insurance but they do have the Find My iPhone feature. The main drawback is that you have to have it set up and turned on before you loose your device.

actually i had it on my iPhone .but the sad thing i switched off location services :(

If you have homeowners or renters insurance check with them. Some will cover lost / stolen electronics and most will add a rider to the policy to cover it if it's not already included..

I think I pay an extra $10 a year for the rider...

You will need to add this insurance from your carrier like att offers it.
