Does anyone know if there is anyway that I can download Maverick one time, but install it on two computers. I hate to burn through 10 GB of data by having to download it twice. I have a Mac Mini, and the MacBook Pro.

looks like it shows up as an app in your app folder. you can just copy/paste it from there to wherever you want. but you have to do it before the install, because it gets auto deleted.

I run os x 10.07.05 on my Macbook Air. I am not able to download Mavericks from App Store, while update specifications tell that Mavericks run on os x older versions and more. What to do? ;)

I click on download... It stays loading and then stops... Is it the load on the server as users are downloading it and it is 5 GB in size or what?

Have you been able to resolve this yet? I think you should try power-cycling your modem and, if you're using one, your router. I don't know when downloads of newly released Macintosh operating systems peak, but I downloaded Mavericks onto three machines yesterday with no problems whatsoever.

Once the download starts, there should be no reason for it to abruptly stop other than a bad connection (or, obviously, a power outage in the case of a machine running directly off of AC power).

Thx mate for your feedback! Well for my try to download, it did not start to stop. i just click on download icon on Mavericks and nothing happens! No download starts at all. I even connected my Mac via hotspot on iPhone cellular to avoid possible wifi weakness, but nothing happened. No download started!

Can you try downloading a small free app and see if that works?

If it fails, perhaps you could create a new Apple ID and try downloading Mavericks using the new ID?
