I look forward to such a tweak. Many times I'll try read emails and texts when I first wake up and am blinded by the light. Even with the brightness turned low there's not enough contrast.

I love this idea! This is great for when the wife is sleeping and I'm reading or something.

It would be great anywhere. The movie theatre, in bed, in classroom as well when some students are bored. :)

If I ever see you using your phone during a movie, I'll brain you.
But you won't be able to see it much as it'll be the eclipse nightmode! :p Therefore it won't bother you.

I don't use phone "much" during a movie. But of course I had to use it during Jobs to show my appreciation of him!

I find that it is almost to bright at night. I usually have to lower the brightness or else it hurts my eyes.

There was also a tweak that changed your brightness based on the light in the room you're in. Does anyone know of this tweaks name?
The phone does that stock when auto-brightness is toggled on.

Interesting. I could have sworn there was a tweak that caused it to change the brightness depending on the light of where you are. I even told people that it's because I am jailbroken, when they asked why my iPhone was changing brightness quickly, as their iPhone doesn't. Hmmmm! I must be going crazy.
