Edge Stopped Working

Anyone else have a problem with EDGE not working . Go to the safari browser and it comes you can not activate EDGE. I don't see the little E up at the top . I have the Data plan . I did however the other day cancel the media works bundle that was on my old plan. Its not be cause of that is it? Let me know . Thanks

The only time i've gotten the can not connect to edge prompt is when i'm using wifi so its not a big deal for me.

I have wifi turned off . Just now i see the E came back up to the top but will not connect . Maybe there is a problem by me .

this happened to me 2 days ago for about 5 minutes, then it was fine.

Yeah, bad EDGE coverage comes free with any AT&T data package :p J/k it's not so bad, but I've had it not work many times already.

I'm getting this to. I haven't been able to check weather or stocks since about 5pm and then now it just says that it can't activate EDGE.

I also just noticed that I don't have an E next to AT&T.

Edge is now back up and running for me . Its midnight!

I had this problem for about 8 hours last night. Didn't really *need* to use it too badly, so I didn't really try to fix it / report it. Well, finally I really wanted to use it, so I did a hard reset on the phone, and it worked fine after that.

RECAP: If you get the "can not activate edge" message, try a hard reset (home+sleep for 10 seconds) and it just might let you back on the 'net. :)
