I'm having this weird email problem....all my email addresses are set to 'Push', so that they're supposed to automatically download to my inboxes, as soon as possible! Without me checking every time! I deleted the email addresses and set them all up again, but the problem is still there.

    Help!

And what's the problem? You didn't specify.

Oops sorry! The problem is that the email doesn't come in automatically. Even though I have set each individual address to 'Push'.

check under advanced and make sure they are also set to push in there.
What firmware are you running and on which iPhone?

When set to push they should come in automatically...

If set to fetch then the time frame needs to be specified..

I am also having issues with push.. Search Google and many others are as well.. Email not getting delivered until the mail app is opened..

I am having this issue with Yahoo mail and .me mail

Like Benny said, make sure you click on Fetch new Data, push is on, but it could be set to manual.

Reset your network settings, see if that helps.

What domain are the email addresses? Unless things have changed...not all domains will push email to your device.

I have always found that even with it set to push you need to make sure manual is not selected. Sounds weird but thats how it always worked for me.

Thanks everyone for your advice. I am aware of the Advanced option to set it to Push, rather than Fetch or Manual. I've set them to Push too. :-(
