Leef's iBridge will give you additional storage, up to 256 GB, for a price.

They aren't exceptionally cheap, but they're not as egregiously expensive as what Apple charges you for flash storage, gigabyte for gigabyte.

Obviously, you will have to use the company's app in order to access the extra storage space, and that's what I hate about these things. iOS will not add the additional storage space from the iBridge seamlessly to what you already have.

I see this one, and the SanDisk iXpand, which would be the better and easiest to use?

I have a 64 GB SanDisk iXpand and it's very easy to use.

Does the iXpand only allow video and photo transfers or any file type?

There's a few options that offer a lot more than the iBridge and iXpand, like the WD Passport Wireless and Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2. Aside from being used to backup, transfer, and manage files, they offer Wi-Fi and streaming through the App. I personally have the Kingston MobileLite Wireless G2 and for its price it's pretty amazing.
