Exploits Still Exist For An iOS 8.d Jailbreak

Word around the jailbreak community is that only three of seven exploits have been patched by Apple in iOS 8.1.1. However, a jailbreak for 8.1.1 is highly unlikely and more likely for 8.2.

So despair not.

How far out-ish is 8.2?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too.

This new Pangu team seems like the real deal. Wait until Apple does a "real" update, then hit them again.

It's real, it's just not feature-rich. The Pangu team is following the patterns of pretty much every jailbreak developer we've had. They typically skip the incremental updates because it's easy for us to avoid them. There isn't much to tempt us. They don't have enough time or exploits to launch jailbreaks as often as Apple launches new firmware.
