Chris was wondering if the the idea of a FAQ section had ever been brought up. I know we have sticky threads that answer some of the common questions but we see a lot of new threads by new members asking the same questions. Perhaps a section of common questions and answers (correct) should be made.
2 devices in one iTunes. Updating. Hard resets. Repair procedures. Cases. Etc.

Just a thought.

Good idea IMO. Another good candidate would be "how do I get the songs from my iPhone to my new computer since I don't back anything up". It would be nice to have a place to refer folks who ask the most commonly repeated questions.

This has been discussed in the past and really needs to be actioned.

I'd gladly help writing guides, we just need a base for all of the ideas and work from there. I'll do jailbreaky type stuff too.

I agree. Needs to be taken on by a person(s) to keep it organized and keep It from everyone adding to it.

If John is willing to moderate them then I am sure some of us are willing to wrote some up.

John should suggest how he wants to receive them. Pm or email or what not. And may I suggest that they be locked as to prevent unneeded comments or additions to them after they are posted. Just a thought.

Email would probably be better, then I can tweak them and post them.

Full credit will go to the writer of the guide(s).

Sounds good to me. Should we lay claim to what we are going to write so there isn't duplicates?
I will write one in hard resets and resprings and difference there of

I'll set something up so we can all work from the same list, as we move along we can cross out the lines like this...

Hard-Reset Explained - Ray
Restarting Springboard - John

Before publishing these guides in the forum, I'd like to see them. The blog desperately needs good guides, so perhaps they can perform double duty.;)

On a serious note, they would need to be super-visible to actually serve any purpose. No one is going to sift through a generic "FAQ" thread when "OMG ONLY ONE OF MY SPEAKERS WORKZES!".
