Hi guys, does anyone else notice when browsing on the net or for example this forum that when you scroll down or up the screen flickers a lot and when zooming in and out, grey boxes show up in the background - is that normal?

I remember seeing flickering on my iPad when I had it. I completely forgot about it until this thread. The "fix" seemed to be turning the brightness up but it didn't really fix it, it just made the flickering more difficult to see.

Edit: what you describe seems to be low RAM. Do you have a lot of apps open + a lot of tabs?

I try to stick with 3 tabs max, although most of the time it's one tab.

I have had the same problem with my first iPhone4 which started after 10 hours of usage. The flickering increased when setting brightness to max and was good visible when the phone was cold and in the lockscreen and at the gray bar in Safari while scrolling. I return mine iPhone, they admitted that's that unacceptable for an expensive phone and got a replacement... Which is flickering free!

I have never ever had flickering on my iPhone 4 screen whether it's from very dim to very bright.
