Ok, so I guess it would be ok for me to go and buy the iPhone later this week? Or is there any chance a new iPhone will be announced later this week?

Nothing I have seen has been ground-breaking. The only hope is that the next version of software has bells and whistles that they didn't mention, and that is very unlikely. I don't expect another firmware update till late June -if then.

No too exciting. The iTunes announcements are nice, though. $0.69 songs and the ridding of DRM.
