So I am looking into unlocking my 3Gs on 4.3.5
I need no jailbreak just an unlock for travel purpose.
So I checked this sim out and it seems easy to use.
I wonder if anyone uses it and how it performs for them?
I also wanted to know where should I buy one?

I've not used one nor do I know anyone that's used one. They work, though.

I've heard it doesn't always work and the unlocking process has to be repeated each time you reboot. I'd go with the iPad baseband rather than using a GEVEY SIM.

I thought the reboot problem was fixed with the GEVEY Pro? The iPad baseband has it's own complications. GPS problems etc.

The GEVEY SIM is probably the best option, but the method of actually getting the SIM to work is to misuse an emergency line.

Neither option is optimal; they both have problems. I would prefer a software unlock with ultrasn0w. I've heard there are more problems with the GEVEY. A free unlock that works with the possibility of broken GPS is better than a paid unlock that doesn't always work. It's a 3GS so has a choice and the iPad baseband is a better option, in my opinion.

I'd use the iPad's baseband every time. I know I'm contradicting myself but I would use it for ease and I know it works. The only thing that's annoying with the iPad's baseband is that it can become a headache when upgrading/downgrading.
