Every time I send an email from my iPhone (gmail), it sends to myself as well so I always have a copy of what I send out in my iPhone inbox. It's kinda annoying. Like what's the deal with this?

I don't know if there's anything in particular you can do about getting an email in your inbox... but a temporary fix would be to simply set up a filter so that all messages FROM your iPhone go directly to the trash. That would at least eliminate the messages from showing in your inbox.

Setting a filter did not work for me. Someone else figured out that if you switch recent mode to off it stops this. You can find this setting under the advanced section in the email settings.
