I download the iTunes 7.4 Update and installed ringtones afterward. They still seem to be working for me.

*EDIT: I am using iBrickr though, maybe it's related to Ambrosia.

Plug in your iPhone with iTunes running and see if they disappear or not....

I believe if you uncheck the Sync Ringtones box in iTunes, then it doesn't tamper with your modded ringtones, I may be wrong, but I thought I read that somewhere.

I unchecked the box and everything seems fine. I will NEVER check the box anyway. I make my own ringtones and system sounds... ... For free.

This is how I got around iTunes killing my custom ringtones.

I installed itune 7.4. Unchecked automatic sync. Unchecked sync ringtones.

I then connected my iPhone up to the computer and manually synced.

This is how I kept my custom ringtones.

This does not effect iBrickr. iBrickr installs the ringtones into /var/root/Library/Ringtones. I just tried enabling sync ringtones and resynced the iPhone. My custom ringtones are still there and intact.

I tried bot syncing with my mac and pc and they are still intact. I believe is it has to do with certain software as some install the ringtones in different directories.
