it may not have been your fault

read my recent thread.

my iPhone when sending emails, I will touch and highlight 1 name and it will send it to another name!

A tech guy in an Apple store saw this happen, I click person A and it puts person B in the TO section for emails.

Luckily mine were just emails intended for my boss that I sent to my brother instead

Perhaps then you can gather proof its a flaw in the iPhone, get a lawyer and sue Apple.

yeah. not gonna happen. I'm sure that Apple could turn that right around and say that he was producing porn from his home. That's illegal too, is it not? :p

Somehow, it reminds me of the robber who sued the owner of the house he was robbing because he got injured inside the house.
Few people will admit to their own mistakes in this country.

Next time, send a picture of your cat.

Good Day

I am calling BS on this post as well.
The posters name is coreymadeyoulaugh.

Corey told us a story, and as normal human beings, we laughed at another human being's misfortune.

There have been 1900 views of a post I believe is false.
I think wemadecoreylaugh.

Good Day

Dana

P.S. John, check the IP address, I wonder if Corey is someone from the past?

Well my name is "corymadeyoulaugh" but I assure you this is not BS. That is just my yahoo email address, feel free to see if I am spam. This is a real story of two weeks ago where lost a fun job. Lesson learned I messed up and I will not let it happen again.

Oh, and if you want to have sexual or offcolor photos on your phone....never have it on a phone with businesss or work contacts.

Think of it this way...if Best Buy gave you a phone for work....would you put naked pictures of your girfriend on it?

Chaulk this one up to life's little lessons.
This is m personal phone. I got an email from one of my businesss contacts. I had not saved the contact but you know how iPhone email will remember recent emails sent and received.

So this almost happened to me! I was sending an email to a girl who I was flirting with. Before I sent it I realized that it might send from my company email. So I looked under my mail options and noticed that my company email was set to my default account. So what I am saying is even if you are just replying to an email it will send from your default account. I have three emails set up on my phone and I have almost done this more than once. That is the only thing I don't like about how the email is setup. So be careful in how you send and set up your email accounts on the iPhone.

Not true. If you are in account A and reply from A, then it shows A, and so on for all your accounts. If you click on a link, the default email is where it will be sent from. Believe, I have 4 accounts on my phone, including work. I can generate email from any account, depending which Inbox I am currently in. Try it yourself if you don't believe.

Ah, the possibilities are endless...but i'll leave it to the topicstarter's own words

I was at home at like 11:45 from what they said. So I was not on the work clock. But the email did go to a work email by mistake. So I am screwed.
Glad to see it worked out for ya afterwards;)

At least you've got a girlfriend to come home to. Imagine if you had sent a picture of your girlfriend accidentally to someone at work...lose your job and your screw!

Sorry this happened to you, it truly sucks. Mistakes happen, I hope you find a new job soon. It would be really great to have MMS though!:(

Apple neglecting to put MMS on the iPhone ENABLED this mistake. I truly believe that they have some responsibility here. It allowed for human error whereas MMS would have eliminated one of the checks that a mistake prone human being has to make every time. It's always better to eliminate as many opportunities for human mistakes as possible. And Apple failed to do that. That's what happens when you design a simple (featureless) device, like the iPhone. I mean come on. We don't even have copy/paste.

For those of you thinking that sending an MMS to the wrong person is just as easy as emailing a pic to the wrong person, think about how you actually use MMS on your phones and how you have to email pics. To send an email, you start from zero: the home screen. Then your pictures and then you type in the name. You have to pay attention to make sure the name is correct. But if you are texting someone, you have a record of the conversation. You want to send an MMS, you wouldn't be starting from zero. You would be starting from the conversation. You would KNOW that you are talking to the person you want to receive the pic.

Apple DOES hold some of the blame here.

I tend to agree with most of your posts, but this is crap. No one to blame but the user.
