Handbreak subtitles ?

    i have a movie thats in a foreign langauge and i have the srt sub title file. i imported it and everything, i formated the movie for iPhone but no subs showed up. did i do something wrong ? if any one know how to do subs and can help me get it to work let me know

    depends. did you have the subtitles burned-into the image, or do you add "soft" subtitles that only show when you have subtitles turned on? To check if you have "soft" subtitles, play the video in iTunes, and you should see a little dialog baloon in the controls, which gives you audio and subtitle options.

    I use subler to add subtitles to movies. the cool thing about subler is that you don't have to re-convert the video to add the subtitle. just slips it right in there.

    i don't think it gave me the option for "soft" or not, the only box i could check was default. but ill try that subler and see how that works

    that subler is for mac, im on pc
