Ok I didn't even bother with the dreadful low quality earphones that came with the iPhone with no second thoughts I wanted to enjoy music using my own earphones and went looking to get the adapter for it but then I saw this on eBay, it's a small device with a volume control, talk button and a belt clip.
In case I am using something like a Dynex adapter, listening to tunes and if someone calls me I lose the privilege picking up the phone call but looks like with this new little volume control, mic all in one I can use my own earphones and still be able to do that?
Anyone thinking of getting this or tried it, is this really handy and do I need it or I could quickly reach into my pocket and pick up the call and nevermind the inconvenience?

What are you basing the quality of the "dreadful low quality earphones" on if you "didn't even bother with" them?

IMO, the included earphones served their purpose well.

Wait... are these links to your own auction?

Shure and Monster Cable make devices similar to these, both available at the Apple store. I have the Monster unit, and it does a fair job. Eventually I opted for the Vmoda Vibe Duo headphones made for the iPhone and have concluded that until Apple creates compatibility with Bluetooth Stereo, the Vmoda's are the ticket.
