Has anyone actually tried streaming MP3s? It does work.

If you go to a directory page with direct links to MP3s they will load in quicktime and start playing. I've successfuly tried streaming MP3s over an hour in length. This should answer the question of whether EDGE will be fast enough for internet radio and the like... just waiting for that flash plug-in...

Sound integrity seems as good as the file.

As far as skipping it looks like like it does depend on the bit rate. I loaded and started playing a 64 kbps file with no problems, 192 had a few stops and starts. Quicktime will just stop instead of buffering, have to hit play again. So maybe streaming media will need to be throttled a bit. At least it's possible... with a bit of tweaking.

I've listened to a couple podcasts this way over WiFi. Works great
