I don't know if it's the new iOS 9 or what. Lately I have been receiving e-mail notifications in my g-mail account of my scheduled iPhone calendar appointments and reminders. I don't need or like this as I am more than happy with the pop up notifications on my phones' screen.
This is not something I have selected and after much searching and googling I can not find out how to stop this.
Has anyone else seen this happen?
Does anyone know how to stop this?

Damn, I was at that point but for some reason I did not see the blue "remove" link beside the selection. Ok, I will try that again. Thanks.

But I wonder how it was changed all of a sudden.

Upgrades often enable seemingly innocuous settings. It shouldn't happen, and they do a pretty good job in general of not messing with your settings, but every once in a while...

So...I tried it. Unchecked the email notification. Still does it
