Restore your iPhone. I spoke with a manager at the Apple store and he said that this fixes 75% to 80% of battery related issues. I did it myself and it worked great.

For those who are worried about restoring their iPhone and losing everything, don't worry about it all. iTunes backs up everything first and then puts it all right back on, even all of your text messages, recent calls, and all settings. The only thing you'll have to do is put all your passwords back in (Voicemail, Email, and Wireless WEP).

Make sure, however, that you copy your Camera Roll to your hard drive first as this is NOT backed up for some reason.

people complained that the battery charge logo was false or it presented the amount of charge left was wrong. I think thats what he means.

You just connect the iPhone to your computer. Then go to iTunes, click on your iPhone name under the "Devices" tab on your left. Press the "Restore" button. iTunes will download the restore software in the background, once the download is complete, it will restore your phone to it's factory shipped state.:laugh2:

Awesome info once again, I am going to try this out, kind of a relief to hear it backs up most things on the phone!
