i made a custom firmware from 5.01 with redsnow & restoresd it on my 3gs over 4.3.3 now it finished but the device is not coming on. I tried powering / DFU but still stuck.

I again tried to JB it with redsnow but it says now device not supported ?

I tried fix recovery still device not supported ?

    Please help / Advice :(

Why not just restore and use a backup? If you want to stay on the current firmware, download it and use shift restore. Unless it's not signed anymore.

Once you restore your phone in iTunes you can then use a backup to put all your music and apps and everything back onto phone.

but i cant do that till iPhone comes out of recovery right, everytime i connect to iTunes it says: iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. you must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes.

I'm lost now. What happens when you try to restore? You get errors?

Have you searched the error online?

What's the reason you're using a custom firmware? Maybe that's your issue now.

I'm just going on a limb here but maybe try reinstalling iTunes and then go through the process of restoring your iPhone.
