help downgrading

    i am trying to downgrade from ios 5 to ios 4.3.3
    i have shsh blobs saved on cydia,i have downloaded ipsw file for 4.3.3 i put phone into dfu mode and edited host file with 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com

    i started downgrade with shift restore and now the progress bar on phone has stopped at about 75% it has been like this all night and still not doing anything can any body suggest what i can do now without bricking iPhone thanks

    iPhonewarrior, sorry to hijack this but I've tried to start a new thread and keep getting an error saying that I have not added a message. I don't get a dialog box for that and only a subject and poll box. ?

    that's exactly what i've done but the progress bar is not moving from about 75% there's no error codes or nothing,i don't want to unplug it from iTunes in case i brick my phone is there any way i can cancel the downgrade

    Clear your browsers cache and create a new thread.

    So the bar has stopped 75% of the way through the restore process? How long has it been like this?

    it has been like it over night come to have a look this morning and it is still the same

    Have you tried cancelling the restore from iTunes? If you were to disconnect you could probably still restore but you'll probably have to put the device into DFU mode. Again.

    after a lot of trying i have managed to downgrade to 4.3.3
    i am a very happy man
