I'm on iOS 7.0.4. But, lately, my phone has been crashing a lot. And, apps have been crashing too. I haven't added any new tweaks, just updated installed ones.

If I do a hard reset, it helps with the apps crashing until the next time.

    Any ideas? Any culprits? Thanks!

Update to 7.1, maybe, unless you're jailbroken?

Interestingly enough, I had my first Safari crash in over a week replying to this post. I'm on 7.0.6.

What types of crashes are you having? Resprings, Sade Mode, app crashes to the home screen? Which apps? Do you have a 5s?

Install Crash Reporter in Cydia. It can help you find Cydia culprits. Also, check your Apple diagnostics report/crash logs. This can even be done on a stock phone. Sometimes the crashes are a result of 64-bit. It will tell you if the crashes are a result of low memory, which is common on the 5s.
Settings > About > Diagnostics and Usage > Diagnostics and Usage Data.

Look for these (lowmemory) immediately after your crash. It's the stock Crash Reporter and it's often more useful that the one in Cydia because it tells you why it happened if the problem is on Apple's end rather than a Cydia app.

I guess you can't read my signature on the mobile site. I'm jailbroken on 7.0.4 on an iPhone 5.

The Cydia crash reporter doesn't show anything any culprits.

Re springs, sometimes to safe mode, apps crash to home screen. No specific apps.

Most recent crash was a LowMemory one. How do I clear memory? Is BatterySaver a good app to do it to reallocate the memory. I have it and just ran it.

Reboot once or twice a day and see if that helps.

They have the times listed. Check for any that say lowmemory.

It crashed again. Nothing on low memory. This was in the MobileSafari crash report:
    Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)

    Exception Subtype: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0xa1568667

    Triggered by Thread: 7

Does this mean anything or help?

I'm not sure what you can do other than restoring to 7.1, unfortunately.

I'm holding out for a little while. I love jellylock7 and getting used to my themed icons.

If I do restore, I should do it through iTunes correct? Any recommendations how to do it so it does fail?

Update or restore in iTunes. Don't do it unless your 100% sure it's worth losing the jailbreak. There's no going back.

Thanks! I'm going to keep the jailbreak for now. It rebooted again, but not to safe mode. The reason was LowMemory. Why do I keep getting these low memory crashes?

I happened again 6 times in a row (total 7 today). It would go into safe mode than crash when I hit restart. I almost restored. But now it's okay. It usually only crashes to safe mode once or twice a day and not after one another.

The only new items I added yesterday were the NJJurors App Store app and Almpoum from Cydia. And I backed everything up to PkgBackup in anticipation of a possible restore before my 6 in a row, but that shouldn't have caused the crashes.

    Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!
