Decided to make a new thread and leave the Before I start...
anyways here is a pic of what I am getting when I try to change my icons. Thanks for the help guys. I am so close I can feel it just don't know why it won't let me and I'm ready to be hooked on this modding stuff. haha

You have your commands typed in wrong. It should look like this:

cd /Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app/
putfile Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app/icon.png

icon.png is the icon you chose for the iPod application. It needs to be in your "PhoneDMG" folder.

quick question, do I hit enter after I type in cd /Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app/ ? or how do I continue with typing the putfile....?

so I type all of this
"cd /Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app/
putfile Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app/icon.png"
before I hit the return key?

I still get no such file no matter what I do. I have tried like 10 different things too haha. I'm so mad!

You enter the first command line then press enter.

cd /Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app/
PRESS ENTER

Then enter the second command line and press enter.

putfile Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app/icon.png
PRESS ENTER

ok good now it's the computers fault because I am doing exactly what you are telling me to do and I have read from the hacktheiPhone website and modmyiPhone and done everything but why does it keep saying No such file or director?!

YESS! It was the programs! I downloaded the more recent ones and they worked. Thanks so much Princess for hanging in there with me. Found it on ModmyiPhone.com some guy had same problem
