Coming from a blackberry, i liked having the option of hiding all the application im never going to use..and just keeping the ones i do

how can i do thi on iPhone -

for example -

on my main screen, i don't want a stocks or youtube icon, and wouldn't mind getting rid of a few more...

PLEASE help

1)Go here: http://iPhone.nullriver.com/beta/
2)Install AppTapp onto your iPhone.
3)Open "Installer" on your iPhone and then install rSBT. (You may have to install "Community SOurces" first)
4) Open rSBT (It will be on your homepage)
5)Drag the icons you don't want into "Hidden"

In other words, no, not unless you're willing to hack your phone.
So what, it can still be easily done. And "hacking" is hardly an appropriate way to describe opening up AppTapp (or iBrickr) and letting it do its thing. Hacking to me implies a lot more work than that.

I guess that's a matter of opinion.

It's not a "feature" built in to the phone. Maybe that was clear to the OP by the responses that he got but if not, at least he should be aware that it requires making a change to the software that Apple did not intend.
