I have the iPhone 3G, it had 2.1 on it and I jailbroke it. I updated to 2.2 via iTunes without deleting anything on the phone. Now I have some 500MB of stuff under "other". So I decide to do a restore and it shrinks it down to 200MB. Is there any why to wipe the entire iPhone? I have all my contacts saved. I just want a nice fresh 2.2 iPhone 3G.

Do you have many applications? Applications can occupy much of the Other space on your iPhone. There is going to be a bit of Other no matter what due to the Firmware taking up space and such.
