How can I forward text messages on iPhone

No, not with the default iPhone software. There may be some add on software that will do it, but I do not know.

No you cant with the iPhone. I just checked installer and i didn't see anything that allowed you to do that with a text. there may be something though somewhere but im not sure

Check out the program called SMSD in the installer.... it allows you to forward sms messages.

how about sending to multiple recipients? or saving a new message as draft? Its kinda 'surprise' since iPhone launched, there isn't anyone has created an application to handle all these basic sms functions...apple's SMS application is so useless....

If you jailbreak your phone, you can now do SMS texting/forwarding to multiple contacts via a third party app called WeTool:
