ok they are in 2 locations and there are 2 files to replace.

1. replace files Default_CARRIER_ATT.png and FSO_CARRIER_ATT.png
found in system/library/carrier bundles/ATT US.bundle

2. replace the same files
found in /var/mobile/library/carrier bundle. bundle__________________

Followed that didn't work still, can someone explain number 2 step better. should they be renamed to default_carrier_att.png and fso_carrier_att.png instead of _fido's (my provider) which is in that folder?

ok...i assume you are in canada as you have fido. in step one you were told to replace it in the att US.bundle well look and see if there is a canada one. give that a shot and let me know. ill ssh into my phone tonight and look around too.

as for step two, yes you replace the files with the same names as in step one.
