I really dislike being pushed to mobile websites. At best they're lackluster and poorly designed. At worst, only a tiny bit if information and absolutely no functionality. The latest is Kalahari Resorts. I can't even book a room or contact them! Even when I choose the full site, I get pushed back to the horrible mobile site.

Is this an issue with my phone, terrible programming, cell companies or exactly what or why?

Is there a way to fix this?

I really don't think I should have to settle for crappy mobile sites...

    Thanks

    Any help is appreciated!

Without being jailbroken you'll need to use a third-party browser from the App Store such as Atomic Browser or Perfect Browser. A lot of the third-party browsers let you change the user agent, which identifies the browser to web sites as a desktop browser.

I use Skyfire for that. The Italian sport gazzetta wasn't working on my iPhone, I had to pay up for content, no way I'll pay for something that's free on my computer.
And with Skyfire you can watch flash content.

On most mobile sites there is a link at the bottom of the site to be re-directed to the full site.

The unfortunate thing I find, I'll gomto
The full site and as soon as I click another page, I get redirected back to the mobile site. Frustrating to say the least!

Skyfire is very patty and slow for me.

    I'm jailbroken already.

I'll look into other browsers as well I guess.

    Thanks

If you're jailbroken, get User Agent Faker from Cydia and the SBSettings toggle for it.
