I know that it will be all over Apple.com eventually but is there a quicker way for us to find out? I mean can we watch the key note live or anything?

There is no live video, Apple usually posts the video later in the day or the next day. Go here for a selection of weblogs that cover the event

New UI looks very slick. still looking at NANO la-dee-dah

just showed slideshow capabilities and video -looks good, tightest iPod LCD to date 220ppi.

battery life = 24 hours audio / 5hrs video
