I've been looking everywhere on my iPhone since updating to 3.0 for the Push functionality so I can get BeeJive messages without the program being open. Does anyone know what's up?

I don't think everything promised in 3.0 is working yet. I noticed MMS won't be available until late summer from ATT so maybe the same for the push service.

Well, I'm pretty certian AT&T is the culprit behind MMS not working but you'd think Push would be an all Apple thing, right? I'll tell ya...up to this point, I was happier with my 2.2.1 jailbreak setup than this 3.0 joint. I was excited like a kid but so far, two of the three biggest reasons I was looking forward to 3.0, the other being C&P, aren't even there.

You have to install an app that uses notifications to see it in your settings menu.

Try AP Mobile. Its free and will give you notification options.

What hasn't? BeeJive? I got it from the Appstore.

Push notification apps are just making it into the app store. Beejive had an update ready and waiting to be submitted once 3.0 was live. If the version you have doesn't have it, keep checking for updates, I'm sure it will be available soon.

Push Notification is going to come from the Application side, not Apple or AT&T..

The Developer has to write it into the app...
