How fast is YOUR 3G?

I have an 3g iPhone and our area was finally upgraded from Edge to 3g. I'm curious how fast the 3g is in your area. I'm not really impressed with it. Is there a piece of software that I can use to test this? What types of speeds are you guys getting?

so fast, that I don't get buffing when watching videos... Ive never not had a problem with 3G in my Area. I live near Indianapolis.

Use the DSLR speed test... find it in the App Store. It's a freebie.

Just search for "DSLR" and it's called Network Speed Test.

There is no 3G signal in my area - and that's bad, because I have a monthly 10GB dataplan...I have used 7 MB on EDGE since November 2008! lol...

But I'm looking forward to use it for the first time...some day

out of interest, I'd like to know how to test the internal processing speed of my new 3G It's pitiful! I run the same DianHua Chinese dictionary as a mate with a year-old 2G phone and his returns almost immediate answers, while you could make a cup of tea in the time it takes mine

I wouldn't trust that site. It said my computer was only 4.49Mbps
Thats a bunch of bs lol. I get 24MBps according to speedtest.net. It also said my Latency is 11587.75 so the server could possibly be in a country other than the US.
