I have an iPhone with AT&T and a Sanyo Katana with Sprint. I'm going to port my Sprint number over to AT&T this summer, so I'll have 2 iPhones. I don't think this is strange at all since I don't have a home phone and want/need a "back up" phone. But still, people often ask me why I have 2 cell phones.

So I'm just curious how many cell phones and how many cell phone lines (since a lot of people swap Sim cards) everyone here has for themselves and if they still have a Home phone/land line or not.

I have 4 extra phones from T-Mobile lying around.
I used to have a BlackBerry Curve, but sold it to get this lovely iPhone.

I have my iPhone and a Blackberry Bold. I switch sims between the two, but I mostly use the Bold at the moment, since it's new. :)

I have 3, my iPhone, Treo 650 and some throw away Motorola that someone gave me after they trashed an old Nokia I had let them use until a phone they ordered came in. I have only one sim card. My wife has a Nokia that has a car mount integrated into the stereo system. I have 2 home phone lines and would cancel one but my wife's reception on her cell is bad. I will probably give her my iPhone when the new one comes out and buy it for myself. The only thing she cares about on a cell phone is good reception. I also have one of the original Motorola 'MICRO T-A-C Ultra Light'. It doesn't look so light today. I shot these pics on a white blanket and the hairs belong to one of our 3 cats.:laugh2: Motorola flip phone.jpg MF2.jpg

My iPhone is my fourth phone in about 6 or maybe 7 years. Before that no one I knew had cell phones. I only have one of those backup phones left and its a Samsung a707 sync or something like that.

I've had countless phones over the years, but now only four. I have my old original Samsung Blackjack, the iPhone 3G, an original iPhone and a black T-Mobile G1 I tried to use for three days and gave up on.

Only two that I use regularly; the iPhone and a work Nextel. I've had about 5 in the last year though.

I have one backup phone for both my wife and I and we each have our own. Nothing else, no landlines. I just don't see the point of having more than one active phone. Why? Which number do you give to who? If you have a work phone I can see two phones but that's it really.

I have three which is good for me (in terms of my phone addiction). I have the iPhone v1 (didn"t really want the plastic 3G), the BlackBerry Storm and the BlackBerry Curve 8900 Titanium. I also have the BLAZING fast Sierra Wireless 595U Aircard from Sprint. I love the iPhone and the BB 8900 (even though T-Mobile has horrible service) the most of any phones/PDA's I've had. Mark

Nah, i usually buy phones without contracts, so i got only two numbers. But i've chilled down the last year now, and i've only purchased the iPhone and that's it. Before, i would buy a new phone about every 2-3 month.
