How much did you think the Metal Band Apple Watch was?

I've been waiting for the Apple watch for some time now and was excited to see it during the Key Note last month but was shocked at the $350 - $550 price point. I had my eye on the Gray or Black Metal band and larger 42mm size and was SHOCKED to see that is $1,100 and not $550 - $599.

Did anyone else think the Metal band or stainless steel Apple watch was going to be in the $600 range and not $1,000? I have the Gear 1, 2, Gear S and Moto 360 but I can't see myself paying $1,000 for an Apple Watch and don't like the Sport.

I was disappointedly with the price on this model as well. The price for just the metal band is prohibitive, at least for me.

Did you also think the metal band would be starting at $550?

Agree, may try to get a 42mm Sport for $399 once they become available again.

There is no freaking way that the watch is $1,000.00+. You can buy some very nice real watches a whole lot less
and still have a nice iPhone.

You're wrong, the price is listed on apple's website. Now if you mean the watch and band combo isn't worth 1000.00 then I tend to agree.
