How safe is the likes of iCloud, Dropbox and Google drive ?

    I was having a discussion with a mate, he stores personal data on both his icloud and google drive ( an example of this is their payslips... in a payslip it holds sensitive information such as your National Insurance number. my argument is what if hackers managed to steal items from your box or the Government/ 3rd party companies get a hold of this information

    just want to know peoples stances.

    These services are great for storing personal information in private folders. It syncs between all your devices and you have access to it from anywhere. Just use a strong password.

    so you would not be worried about an attack on their servers and the information being Stolen or your own/other countries and or 3rd party companies some how being able to get a hand of this information ?
