How copy photos from iPhone to computer.?
lost my PC system disk, however, I had previously sync'd all my pictures to my iPhone. Now obviously I lost all the pictures on my computer system disk.

however, they are backed up on my iPhone and also my son's ipod touch. Now the question is this. Is there a way that I can extract the photos from the iPhone and copy them back to my computer. I'm not talking about copying only the pictures that were taken with my iPhone, but the pictures that were sync'd from my computer to the iPhone.

It would be a shame that I have all those pictures on there and I can't get to them. In the mean time I have rebuilt my PC system disk and installed iTunes, but selected not to sync my photos, so that I don't lose the photos from the iPhone.

Anybody have any ideas? Is there a back door process on how to get these pictures?

I just installed iFunbox to test it and see if that would work for you, but seems to only work for the camera roll. Worst case, you can always email them all to yourself. Time consuming and the quality is decreased a little, but it's better than losing them altogether.

Tansee can do it:

http://www.tansee.com/iPhonetransferphoto.html

Keep in mind the photos on the iPhone (via syncing) are not at their original resolution. They are scaled down to around 800x600. But if the photos are important, it's better than losing them altogether.

If you are using a PC, just connect your phone, go into MyComputer and you should see your phone listed with the drives. open it up, and it should ask if you want to download your pics.
Use the camera Wizard and make a folder and pull them down. they still stay on the phone unless you check the box to delete them from the device.
No additional software required.

That being said, iFunbox works too and I like it for pulling music down from the phone if I happen to lose something, but in this case its not necessary.

We don't discuss cracked or pirated software here. Is $20 not worth the lost photos, or endless time it would take to email them all?

Glad to help. I think there might be another way. If I think of it I'll update the thread.

In order to get your pics off your iPhone, double click "my computer" and it should have recongized the phone as a camera. Double click to open it and "Bingo", there's your pics.
No. You misunderstood this, ancient, thread. It had nothing to do with camera roll pics.
