I have a number of Real Audio files on my PC. Is it possible to play these on the iPhone? Would I need to convert them? If so, any suggestions on what software to use and what file format I should convert them to for optimal playback on the iPhone?

I am not sure how you can play it on the iPhone, but you can try this. Its free and it converts real audio files to mp3 so you can play it on the iPhone.

If it is a real audio stream then you can paste the stream URL in to orb then access orb from your iPhone. Orb will see you are using mobile safari and convert the stream to QT format.
