I wouldn't be confident in the quality of scans using this method. I do want them to add more fingerprint support, but might pass on this one. Have you tried it? How did it work out for you?

Do you want more finger print scans to allow more people access or you just want all your digits recognized?
I've only scanned my thumbs. That's all I have needed to use for the unlock purpose.

I've scanned thumbs and pointer fingers, as the pointers seem more useful when I have my phone sitting on my desk at work.
