The procedure on these phones has been modified due to the lack of a physical home button.

This article explains how to do it.

First of Install Latest iTunes Version in you Computer

Step #1. Connect your iPhone 7 to your computer.

Step #2. Switch off your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus.

Step #3. Press and hold down the On/Off button on the right side of your iPhone for 3 seconds.

Step #4. Press and hold down the volume down button located on the left side of your smartphone while still holding down the On/Off button.

Step #5. Keep holding both buttons for about 10 seconds.

(If Apple logo appears on the screen you have held them for a bit too long. Then, you need to start it again.)

Step #6. Next, you need to let go off the On/Off Button. However, keep holding the volume down button for about 5 seconds.

(If you hold them for a bit long, “Plug into iTunes” will appear on the screen. Then you have to start it again.)

Step #7. Now Your iPhone will now enter into DFU mode. An alert from iTunes wil appear on the screen; saying it has detected your device and will allow the phone to be restored.
